Tyger’s passion for working in the university setting began as an undergraduate at Bowling Green State University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and became involved in various student organizations. She served as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Activities at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville while working toward a Master’s degree in College Student Personnel. Tyger then spent four years in the Office of Student Activities and Leadership at Coastal Carolina University before returning to UTK to serve as Assistant Director in the Center for Student Engagement.
In her free time, Tyger serves as the Chapter Counselor for Beta Theta Pi fraternity and as Chairperson for the 2017 National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) South Regional Conference. She also enjoys volunteering at local festivals and community events.
