Tyger is the assistant director of student engagement at the University of Tennessee where she has worked since 2014. She oversees the contract process for the office, advises the Student Homecoming Committee, and chairs the University Homecoming Committee. Prior to moving back to Tennessee, Tyger was assistant director of student programming at Coastal Carolina University, advising the Coastal Activities Board and planning major events. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2010 with her master’s degree in college student personnel. While in graduate school, Tyger was graduate assistant of student activities, advising two committees of the Central Program Council.
Tyger is chair of the 2017 National Association for Campus Activities South regional conference. She also serves on the board for the Young Professionals of Knoxville. Tyger has previously won the 2014 Outstanding New Professional award from the ACPA Commission for Student Involvement and the 2015 IFC Advisor of the Year award at the University of Tennessee Greek Awards for her work with Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
