Brittney serves as the Coordinator for Student Programming in the Center for Student Engagement.  In her role, she advises the Executive Board and the Issues Committee of the Campus Events Board. She also supervises two Graduate Assistants who advise the Entertainment and Arts and Culture committees of the Campus Events Board. She oversees the contract process for all events and works with students on marketing initiatives for the office.

Brittney is originally from San Diego, California where she grew up near the beach before choosing to attend college at Boise State University in Idaho. Her undergraduate involvement included being an active member of both Sorority and Fraternity Life and Boise State Dance Marathon while working as a Residence Advisor in Housing, a Tour Guide in Admissions, and an Intern in the Student Involvement and Leadership Center. These experiences motivated her to pursue a career in higher education and student affairs.

Prior to her current role, Brittney worked as a Resident Director at Chapman University in Orange, CA, a Graduate Assistant in the Center for Student Engagement at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an Intern for the Pre-College Program at Harvard University.

During her free time, Brittney enjoys spending time with her dog – Winnie, taking workout classes, and eating all the great food Knoxville has to offer! Be sure to ask her about living in (almost) every region of the country, the best soup in the city, and what book she’s reading at the moment.
