Marissa (she/her) was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. While attending Ball State University, Marissa served as an Orientation Coordinator, Panhellenic President, and the inaugural Alumni Association Shipley Fellow. Through her involvement in Sigma Kappa and the Homecoming Steering Committee, she found her passion for working in Student Affairs and decided to pursue it professionally. She currently serves on the Young Alumni Council for Ball State University.

Marissa serves as a Graduate Assistant in the Center for Student Engagement. In her position, she advises Student Engagement Ambassadors and co-facilitates the Rocky Top President’s Institute. She assists with creating and maintaining organizational support for all of Rocky Top’s student organizations.

In her free time, Marissa can be found working on creative projects and spending time with her partner and dog – Dallas.
