Thank you for your interest in serving as a Student Organization Advisor. Each year, the Center for Student Engagement approves about 40 new registered student organizations, to join our already growing 470 active student organizations.
At times, new organizations are without a Faculty/Staff Advisor. This form serves as a collection of potential advisors we can use to refer student organization leaders in need of a Faculty/Staff Advisor. By completing this form, you are listing your name as a potential advisor for a student organization.
The following requirements must be met to serve as an Advisor:
- A Faculty or Staff Member at UTK
- Completion of this Application
- Meeting with Student Organization Leader One-on-One to discuss needs and expectations
- Meeting with Student Organization Leader and Graduate Assistant in the Center for Student Engagement to discuss Organization Basics.
