What is ACE?
The purpose of the All Campus Events Committee is to sponsor Homecoming Competitions, Carnicus and All Sing. These three events all lead up to the ACE Cup. The goal is to provide the students, faculty, and the staff of the University of Tennessee, as well as the Knoxville community, with high-quality performances and events.
Homecoming Competitions
ACE works with the Center for Student Engagement on providing opportunities for student organizations to participate in homecoming. ACE plans homecoming competitions for student organizations to compete in. These events range from Chalk Ped Walkway, a Banner Competition, and many others. Carnicus
Founded in 1929, Carnicus is the second of three competitions that lead up to awarding the coveted ACE Cup. Carnicus is a skit performance competition where groups will create a skit based on an overarching theme.
All Sing
Founded in 1932, All Sing is the third of three competitions that lead up to awarding the coveted ACE Cup. All Sing is a group singing competition where groups will include excerpts from famous movies, musicals, genres and other musical selections based on an overarching theme.
